Saturn researcher Eric Baudin of Bureau Veritas presented last week at the French National Seminar for Underwater Noise in the Mediterranean (Séminaire national sur le bruit sous-marin en Méditerranée), highlighting SATURN's research into underwater radiated noise.

The seminar was held by le ministère de la Mer (MMer), le ministère de la Transition écologique (MTE), l’Office français de la biodiversité (OFB) and the University of Toulon.

The seminar was organised into three parts:

  • The situation and challenges in the Mediterranean and a review of regulations and work undertaken by institutions and regulatory projects, with a focus on the Mediterranean level and stakeholders;

  • A presentation of current scientific and technical projects, including solutions and innovations of all kinds to reduce noise emissions and their consequences on marine animals and the economic activities that potentially depend on them;

  • And an interactive session.

Well written and easy to follow. The content felt relevant and thoughtfully organized. I recently came across a https://www.pantherplumbing.com/ pantherplumbing review blog that touched on similar topics, which added extra context.

The tone was friendly and the information useful. It reminded me of a https://www.docsoutsidethebox.us/urgent-care-st-petersburg-fl thoughtful review I came across on a -based review blog.

This was a clear and compelling explanation of how slower vessel speeds reduce ocean noise. The environmental impact was easy to grasp. It reminded https://citysecurityservices.com me of an ocean-conservation article I read on a -based review blog.
