It’s World Maritime Day, which this year celebrates new technology for a greener shipping industry. SATURN is contributing to this goal by researching the most promising solutions to reducing noise pollution from ships, which will help reduce the environmental footprint of the shipping industry. Technologies being tested include bubble curtains, pump jet propulsion, hull modifications, and new propeller designs.
